Unbound Documentary Concludes Final Public Screening Following National Television Spotlight

BOSTON, MA – JANUARY 4, 2026 – The tenth-anniversary screening of our documentary drew a fully booked private audience for its final public showing, underscoring sustained interest in the film following a recent nationwide television campaign.

The anniversary event began at 6 p.m. ET on Saturday, January 3rd, and was presented synchronously as a live screening exclusively to a select group of invited VIPs and to thousands of online guests who RSVP’d in advance. The event reached capacity before the campaign concluded, reflecting strong engagement driven by the national rollout of the official trailer across major U.S. broadcast and cable networks.

The trailer aired nationally across platforms, including Warner Bros. Discovery properties, Discovery+, Fox News, CNN, Bloomberg, CBS, CNBC, HBO Max, The CW, among others. The coordinated media push introduced Unbound to new audiences while reconnecting long-time viewers with its central themes of personal well-being and self-directed change.

Directed by Benjamin Smith and featuring Ruben Salinas, Unbound follows Salinas on a personal exploration of human potential. The documentary blends scientific insight with lived experience through unscripted conversations examining how attention to physical health, mental clarity, and spiritual awareness can shape long-term quality of life.

The film includes contributions from prominent voices in wellness and performance, including Wim Hof, Angeles Arrien (via archival material), Dan Millman, Dr. Alexander Wunsch, and David Bayer, among many notable others. Their perspectives span exercise physiology, longevity science, circadian and light biology, psychology, resilience, and human meaning.

Since its original VOD release in 2016, Unbound has screened internationally and cultivated a dedicated following among audiences interested in self-development and holistic health. The anniversary event marked the final presentation of the original full-length documentary.

The filmmakers noted that the anniversary campaign was designed not only to commemorate the film’s legacy, but also to renew public conversation around the idea that sustained care for personal well-being can have a meaningful and transformational impact on everyday life.

Looking ahead, the creative team confirmed plans for a new film that will expand upon the ideas first explored in Unbound, with further details expected to be announced in the coming year.

In parallel, an updated Unbound Academy is scheduled to relaunch shortly as a companion platform to the documentary. The Academy will extend the film’s legacy beyond the screen through structured, practice-based learning, offering guided programs across body, mind, and spiritual domains for those seeking deeper engagement with its core principles.
